Abidjan, May 19, 2025 – Three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed on Monday, May 19, 2025, in Abidjan (2 Plateaux Latrille), between the Ministry of Digital Transition and Digitalization and three tech companies—CEDITECH (Centre for Digital and Technological Excellence), Amini Corp, and TBI. These agreements aim to formalize a strategic partnership to promote innovation and digitalization in Côte d’Ivoire.
The signing took place during the first edition of the National Conference on Artificial Intelligence, held under the theme: "Artificial Intelligence: Ivorian Youth at the Heart of the Digital Revolution."
The MoU with CEDITECH will support the design of innovative training programs tailored to local needs and promote entrepreneurship in the digital sector.
The agreement with Amini Corp, a Kenyan climate tech startup focused on providing environmental data, will help accelerate Côte d’Ivoire’s leadership, enhance digital sovereignty, and foster inclusive innovation.
As for the partnership with TBI, a private company specializing in the sale, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment, it will focus on training government staff in artificial intelligence topics.
Representing the Ministry was Chief of Staff Narcisse Ekissy, while Mody-Oury Barry (CEDITECH), Kate Kallot (Amini Corp), and Bertrand Assamoi (TBI) signed on behalf of their respective organizations.
The conference also featured three thematic panels aligned with the central theme:
