World Bank Reaffirms Support for Côte d’Ivoire’s 2026–2030 Development Plan and Increased Financing for Economic Resilience

On Tuesday, following a meeting with the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, the World Bank’s Vice President for Western and Central Africa, Ousmane Diagana, who is in Abidjan as part of the mid-term review of an initiative assessing the impact of the Bank’s financing based on tangible results, discussed the upcoming Consultative Group meeting on Côte d’Ivoire’s 2026–2030 National Development Plan (NDP).

He also highlighted the World Bank’s ongoing programs in Côte d’Ivoire, as well as the institution’s increased financing efforts aimed at supporting countries facing the effects of external shocks and global economic challenges.
