Arriving in the Turkish capital early in the afternoon, the Minister Delegate was welcomed by local authorities and officials from the Ivorian diplomatic representation before starting a series of high-level meetings.

In the afternoon, Minister Dosso held a working session with Mr. Mustafa Tuzcu, Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade. Discussions focused on enhancing commercial relations between Côte d’Ivoire and Türkiye, particularly in trade diversification, investment promotion, and support for the private sector. Both parties also explored cooperation opportunities in several strategic sectors, in line with the growing economic exchanges between the two countries.

Later in the day, the Minister Delegate met with representatives of the Turkey–Côte d’Ivoire Business Council (DEİK), a key platform for promoting economic relations between the two nations. The meeting allowed for discussions with Turkish business operators on investment opportunities in Côte d’Ivoire and ways to strengthen the presence of Turkish companies in key sectors of the Ivorian economy.

This first day of work is part of Minister Dosso’s participation in the third session of the Ivorian-Turkish Political Consultations, scheduled for April 2, 2026, in Ankara. It reflects the Ivorian Government’s commitment to consolidating strategic economic partnerships and promoting Côte d’Ivoire as a prime investment destination. The mission will continue in the coming days with additional institutional and economic meetings to further strengthen cooperation between Abidjan and Ankara.
