BOAD Mission Reviews Progress of Côte d’Ivoire’s 25,000-Unit Emergency Housing Program

Emergency Housing Program of 25,000 Units: BOAD Validation Mission Visits Abidjan

As part of the emergency program to construct 25,000 social and economic housing units, a validation and closing mission from the West African Development Bank (BOAD) is currently visiting Abidjan.

Led by Mr. Kouamé Marc Antoine for BOAD and accompanied by the Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing and Living Environment (MULCV), represented by the Director of Housing and Major Real Estate Programs, Mr. Dibi Kokora, the delegation visited the Akoupé-Zeudji social housing site on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

The visit allowed BOAD to assess the progress of the works and commend the quality of ongoing constructions. These encouraging results strengthen the momentum of the program and provide favorable prospects for its continuation and completion.
