As part of an African tour aimed at strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and countries on the continent, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Yalchin Rafiyev, first paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Nialé Kaba, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
He was subsequently received on Thursday, March 5, 2026, by H.E. Adama Dosso, Minister Delegate to the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in charge of African Integration and Ivorians Abroad.
The meeting, held in the conference room of the Ministry of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, allowed both officials to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation as well as multilateral issues of common interest. Discussions also focused on diversifying the partnership, particularly in the mining and oil sectors, which are currently expanding in Côte d’Ivoire.
Welcoming the visit, Minister Adama DOSSO reaffirmed Côte d’Ivoire’s commitment to strengthen and broaden cooperation with Azerbaijan, especially in the areas of security, agriculture, and technology.
