The Ivorian Shippers’ Council (OIC) officially launched on May 19, 2026, in Abidjan a new digital platform called the Import Cost Analysis and Evaluation System (SYSANEV), designed to improve the performance, transparency, and compliance of import operations in Côte d’Ivoire.
According to the Director General of the OIC, Issoufou Sidibé, in a global context marked by fluctuating logistics costs and increasingly complex trade flows, access to reliable and anticipatory information has become essential. He explained that SYSANEV represents a new step based on predictability, transparency, and data-driven decision-making to support trade operations.
Beyond being a simple digital tool, SYSANEV reflects the OIC’s commitment to modernizing the governance of foreign trade and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy.
Dioman Coné, Chief of Staff to the Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs, emphasized that by enabling pre-arrival analysis of import costs, the platform addresses key challenges faced by economic operators, including logistics cost volatility, lack of visibility on actual charges, decision-making delays, and information asymmetries affecting business competitiveness.
He added that the system is part of a broader ambition to build a modern, integrated, and digitalized logistics environment capable of positioning Côte d’Ivoire as a leading regional logistics hub in West Africa. This vision aligns with President Alassane Ouattara’s priorities of infrastructure modernization and public administration digital transformation.
The SYSANEV platform targets importers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, public administration services, transporters, and freight agencies.
