Côte d’Ivoire and the United Kingdom have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in the education sector, focusing on innovative approaches to improve learning systems and technical training.
The Minister of National Education, Literacy and Technical Education, N’Guessan Koffi, held discussions in Abidjan with the British Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, John Marshall, during a meeting described as part of ongoing consultations between both parties.
This was the second meeting between the two officials, following the Ivorian minister’s participation in the 2026 Global Education Forum held in London from May 17 to 20, 2026.
According to officials, the talks focused on exploring innovative solutions to strengthen educational cooperation between Côte d’Ivoire and the United Kingdom, particularly in the areas of skills development, technical education and institutional partnerships.
The meeting reflects a broader effort by Côte d’Ivoire to modernize its education system through international collaboration and knowledge exchange with key global partners.
