Mamadou Touré, Minister of Youth Promotion, Professional Integration and Civic Service, announced on the sidelines of the Salon National de l’Enseignement Technique 2026 that the National Employment Fair will be held on May 18, offering around 30,000 socio-professional integration opportunities for job-seeking youth.
He stated that the event will provide “nearly 30,000 direct employment opportunities for young people from the education system,” reinforcing government efforts to tackle youth unemployment.
As the lead official in charge of implementing the government’s Youth Program (PJ GOUV), launched in 2023, Mamadou Touré has multiplied initiatives aimed at empowering young people across the country. The nationwide deployment of Youth Employment Agencies (AEJ) reflects this commitment.
He emphasized that youth training and employment remain central priorities for the Head of State, adding that youth entrepreneurship is also a key driver of Côte d’Ivoire’s economic transformation.
