Côte d’Ivoire to Seek Over 11 Trillion FCFA at PND 2026–2030 Consultative Group Meeting in Abidjan

Souleymane Diarrassouba announced that the Consultative Group meeting for Côte d’Ivoire’s National Development Plan (PND) 2026–2030 will be held on July 8 and 9, 2026, at the Sofitel Abidjan Hôtel Ivoire. The event aims to mobilize 11.138 trillion FCFA from development partners and investors.

Speaking during the presentation of the PND to the press on Friday, May 22, 2026, in Abidjan-Plateau, the minister explained that the main objective of the Consultative Group meeting is to share the government’s vision with institutional and private-sector partners and to secure the financing needed to implement the PND 2026–2030.

“The resources mobilized will complement national efforts and contribute to the effective implementation of the investments planned under the National Development Plan,” Souleymane Diarrassouba stated.

He added that the July 8–9 Consultative Group meeting at Sofitel Abidjan Hôtel Ivoire “must be a major moment of mobilization, confidence, and commitment around the vision of His Excellency Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic.”

According to the minister, the PND 2026–2030 carries a strong ambition to sustainably transform Côte d’Ivoire through a large-scale investment program focused on industrialization, job creation, human capital development, climate resilience, state modernization, and social progress.

He called on development partners, the national and international private sector, financial institutions, civil society organizations, and all development stakeholders to actively participate in the event.

“Our ambition is collective. Our responsibility is shared. Our objective is clear: to make the PND 2026–2030 a powerful instrument for transformation, prosperity, and solidarity for Côte d’Ivoire,” he said.

The implementation of the PND 2026–2030 requires an estimated investment of 114.838 trillion FCFA. Of this amount, the expected contribution from the public sector is estimated at 34.223 trillion FCFA, while the private sector is expected to contribute 80.614 trillion FCFA.
