CCI-CI mobilizes Ivorian private sector at AETC 2026 in Accra

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire (CCI-CI) led a major delegation of Ivorian companies to the 4th edition of the Africa Energy Technology Conference (AETC 2026), held from May 19 to 21, 2026, in Accra, Ghana.

Representing CCI-CI President Touré Faman, the Institution’s Secretary General, Kady Touré, headed the economic mission alongside elected members of Côte d’Ivoire’s consular institution.

The high-level conference, dedicated to African energy technologies and resources, served as a strategic platform for exchanges, partnerships and business opportunities for Ivorian companies. It also contributed to strengthening relations between Ivorian economic operators and stakeholders from member countries of the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO).

On the sidelines of the conference, several prospects for cooperation within Africa’s energy sector were discussed.

Following the event, an APPO economic mission is expected to visit Côte d’Ivoire. The delegation will be led by H.E. Dr. Omar Farouk Ibrahim, Secretary General of APPO, accompanied by Zakaria Dosso, Director General of the Africa Energy Investment Corporation (AEICorp).

Facilitated by the CCI-CI, the visit will provide an opportunity to organize meetings with Côte d’Ivoire’s private sector to explore investment and partnership opportunities in the energy sector.
