The Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, Téné Birahima Ouattara, presided over the double ceremony of baptism and the awarding of sergeant rank insignia to the 35th class of non-commissioned officer cadets, named “AUDACITY,” on Friday, June 5, 2026, in Bouaké, at the National School of Active Non-Commissioned Officers (ENSOA).
Representing the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the Vice Prime Minister gave this event a highly strategic significance. He paid tribute to the commitment of the class sponsor, Brigadier General Intendant Soulama Bakary, as well as to the courage of the 212 new non-commissioned officers now qualified for service.
This 35th ENSOA class stands out for its multinational character. The 212 new graduates, coming from six African countries, are called to serve their respective states with honor and pride. By continuously strengthening the capacities of security forces, the government is laying the foundations for a peaceful and stable nation.
Through this ceremony, ENSOA firmly reaffirms its status as a symbol of excellence and pride for the armed forces across the sub-region.
