Italian company ILSAP SRL eyes Côte d’Ivoire investment in waste valorization and green industry

Italian environmental company ILSAP SRL is exploring investment opportunities in Côte d’Ivoire as the country seeks to accelerate its green transition and develop new industrial activities linked to waste management and resource recovery.

A delegation from ILSAP SRL, a company specialized in the collection, transportation and transformation of waste into high-value-added products, met with the Côte d’Ivoire Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI-CI) to present its investment project and discuss potential support for its establishment in the country.

The delegation was led by Italian lawmaker of Ivorian origin Aboubakar Soumahoro and was received by CCI-CI President Touré Faman. Discussions focused on investment opportunities, industrial partnerships, skills development and the training of qualified local workers.

The Italian company aims to contribute to the development of a circular economy model in Côte d’Ivoire by transforming waste into valuable resources while supporting sustainable industrial growth.

During the meeting, the CCI-CI reaffirmed its commitment to assisting investors by facilitating connections with local economic stakeholders and supporting partnerships that create long-term value for the Ivorian economy.

The initiative aligns with Côte d’Ivoire’s National Development Plan (NDP) 2026–2030, which identifies environmental sustainability, waste recovery and green industrialization as key priorities for the country’s economic transformation.

As Côte d’Ivoire continues to attract foreign investment and strengthen its industrial base, projects focused on renewable solutions and sustainable production are expected to play an increasingly important role in shaping the country’s future growth.
