ECONOMIC COOPERATION IVORY COAST – MAURITIUS: CCI-CI AND THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BOARD OF MAURITIUS FOCUS ON SUSTAINABLE AND INNOVATIVE PARTNERSHIPS
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire (CCI-CI) organized, on Wednesday, May 21, 2026, at its auditorium in Plateau, the Mauritius – Côte d’Ivoire Business Forum, an economic meeting dedicated to strengthening trade exchanges and investment flows between Ivorian and Mauritian business operators.
The forum brought together a high-level Mauritian delegation led by the Economic Development Board of Mauritius (EDB Mauritius), alongside public and private sector stakeholders from Côte d’Ivoire.
Representing the President of CCI-CI, Mr. Touré Faman, Vice-President Ms. Nadine Bla highlighted Côte d’Ivoire’s strong economic performance and the wide range of investment opportunities available in strategic sectors such as agribusiness, infrastructure, energy, technology, and financial services, within a favorable context supported by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
For his part, Mr. Nanda Narrainen presented Mauritius as a leading financial hub for investment in Africa, noting that more than 120 Mauritian companies are currently operating in Côte d’Ivoire.
The Investment Promotion Centre of Côte d’Ivoire (CEPICI) also showcased ongoing reforms aimed at improving the business environment and enhancing the country’s attractiveness to foreign investors.
Through this forum, Côte d’Ivoire and the Republic of Mauritius reaffirmed their shared commitment to building sustainable partnerships, boosting cross-border investments, and strengthening African economic integration.
