National Public Service Days 2026: Ouloto Promotes Citizen-Friendly Public Service

At the launch of the National Public Service Days on May 21, 2026, in Abidjan, the Minister of State, Minister of Public Service and Administrative Modernization, Anne Désirée Ouloto-Lamizana, reaffirmed her ambition to build a citizen-friendly public service.

“The user is no longer just an ordinary administrated person. They are the very reason for the existence of public service. They are its legitimate partner, its permanent evaluator, the revealer of our shortcomings, and the ambassador of our achievements. That is precisely the purpose of the National Public Service Days,” declared Anne Désirée Ouloto-Lamizana.

This year’s edition is being held under the theme: “Together, let us build a citizen-friendly public service.” The event serves as a strong call for the emergence of a public administration that listens, explains, respects deadlines, remains accountable, and treats every citizen with respect and dignity.

The National Public Service Days also provide an opportunity to highlight the work of public servants, encourage careers in the civil service, and showcase the contribution of the public sector to the country’s development process.

“Public administration is the driving force behind peace, stability, and the development of Côte d’Ivoire,” she emphasized, while inviting everyone to make the 2026 edition the starting point of a new pact between the State and its citizens.

It should be noted that the 2026 edition, taking place from May 21 to June 26 in the districts of Abidjan and Yamoussoukro, as well as across the country’s 31 regions, will feature high-level conferences, strategic panels, practical workshops, sports activities, citizen initiatives, digital innovations, and honorary distinctions reflecting the momentum of public administration.
