On October 4, Tokyo hosted the naming and delivery ceremony of the "Côte d'Ivoire Express," a state-of-the-art refrigerated vessel.

Among the distinguished guests was former Miss Côte d'Ivoire, Olivia Yacé, who proudly represented her country at the event. "It is with great pride that I had the honor of representing our beautiful Côte d'Ivoire as the godmother during the delivery of the 'Côte d'Ivoire Express'," she stated.

Ranked third in the 2021 Miss World competition, Olivia Yacé also expressed her gratitude for the invitation. "I would like to thank the 'Compagnie Fruitière' group for choosing me as Côte d'Ivoire’s tourism ambassador. Their trust and recognition of the values I stand for deeply touch me," she added.

She was accompanied by her parents, Jean Marc Yacé, mayor of Cocody, and Yolande Yacé.
