The principal coordinator of the Rassemblement des Houphouëtistes pour la Démocratie et la Paix (RHDP), Kandia Camara, reaffirmed on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in Abobo, the party’s commitment to working toward a prosperous and peaceful Côte d’Ivoire under the leadership of President Alassane Ouattara.
“Abobo is made up of men and women of conviction. They don’t promise what they can’t deliver — they fulfill what they announce. You can reassure President Alassane Ouattara: the RHDP stands strong, solid, and determined,” she declared at the close of the party’s pre-congress held at the sports complex.
Also serving as the mayor of Abobo, Kandia Camara praised the local population’s recognition of the infrastructure developed in the commune as well as across the Ivorian territory.
She particularly highlighted the government’s efforts to empower women and youth through support funds and various structural programs.
“Under President Ouattara’s leadership, the achievements are tangible: bridges, interchanges, schools and healthcare facilities, electrification, access to clean water, job creation… So many concrete actions serving the people,” she emphasized.
Commending the strong turnout of residents, the mayor of Abobo urged them to maintain this momentum during the party’s 2nd national congress scheduled for June 21–22 in Abidjan.
Upon receiving the outcomes of the pre-congress deliberations—which focused on three main areas: the party’s statutes and internal regulations, the functioning of party structures, and the general policy orientations—RHDP representative Philippe Legré expressed his gratitude to the local population and delegates for their exceptional mobilization and unwavering support for President Alassane Ouattara.
In a spirit of unity, the various components of the RHDP (women, youth, teachers, elected officials, executives, and grassroots structures) solemnly renewed their steadfast commitment to President Alassane Ouattara through official motions.
