SIREXE 2026: Ahmadou Bakayoko, CEO of Eranove, Among the Key Figures Expected to Attend

Ahmadou Bakayoko, Chief Executive Officer of the Eranove Group, Global Official Sponsor of SIREXE 2026, is among the business leaders expected to attend the second edition of the International Exhibition of Extractive and Energy Resources, scheduled to take place from November 18 to 22, 2026, in Côte d’Ivoire.

He has served as CEO of Eranove since July 16, 2025. He is also Chairman of the Boards of Directors of the Ivorian Water Distribution Company (SODECI) and Smart Energy.

A graduate of École Polytechnique in Paris and the National School of Telecommunications (Télécom Paris), Bakayoko began his career at an investment fund in the United States before continuing his professional journey in France, notably at Capgemini Consulting and Canal+.

In 2012, he joined Côte d’Ivoire’s national broadcaster, Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI), as Deputy Managing Director. He was appointed Managing Director in 2013, a position he held until 2019.

In February 2019, he joined the Eranove Group as Chief Operating Officer. He was subsequently appointed Managing Director of SODECI and later of the Ivorian Electricity Company (CIE), before taking over as CEO of Eranove in July 2025.

His career has taken him through leadership positions in the media, water and electricity sectors, before his appointment to head a major pan-African industrial group.

Eranove operates in the management of public services and the production of drinking water and electricity. The group has operations in Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Togo and Benin, while also developing projects in other African countries.

Ahmadou Bakayoko’s participation in SIREXE 2026 reflects Eranove’s involvement in the event, which brings together key stakeholders to discuss the challenges, opportunities and future of Africa’s extractive and energy industries.
