Strengthening Ivorian–Gabonese Cooperation in the Housing Sector

On Thursday, February 19, 2026, the Minister of Urban Planning, Housing and Living Environment, Mr. Moussa Sanogo, received his Gabonese counterpart, Mr. Mays Mouissi, Minister of Housing, Habitat, Urban Planning and Cadastre, in a meeting held at the conference room on the 17th floor of Tower A.

The discussions focused on sharing experiences and development mechanisms implemented in both countries, with the aim of strengthening synergies and bilateral cooperation. Minister Moussa Sanogo welcomed this initiative, while presenting Côte d’Ivoire’s major achievements in the sector, key projects completed, and reforms undertaken to improve access to housing and modernize land and urban governance.

For his part, the Gabonese Minister emphasized the commitment of the President of the Republic of Gabon, Brice Oligui Nguema, to promote dynamic and pragmatic South–South cooperation based on the sharing of best practices and expertise among African countries.
