Urban Mobility: The Feh Kessé–Bingerville Expressway to Be Delivered to the Public by Late February 2026, Announces Minister Amédé Kouakou

The Minister of Equipment and Road Maintenance, Amédé Kouakou Koffi, conducted a field visit on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, to assess the progress of construction works on the Feh Kessé–Bingerville expressway.

“We came here to inspect the expressway that runs from the Feh Kessé intersection through the Bingerville Courthouse to connect with Bingerville’s main road. The works will be fully completed by the end of February 2026 to provide major relief for the residents of Bingerville,” explained Amédé Kouakou Koffi.

The project, built over a 10.5 km stretch with a 2×3 lane configuration, is part of the extension of the Germain Coffi Gadeau Boulevard (formerly François Mitterrand Boulevard).

According to Minister Amédé Kouakou Koffi, the works are progressing well, with an execution rate of 82%. He noted that approximately 23 km of roadworks have been completed within the Bingerville municipality to improve mobility for the population.

Once completed, this road infrastructure will ease traffic congestion between Bingerville and central Abidjan. The project aims to offer a smoother daily commute for residents and workers of Bingerville and to boost economic activity.
