Bilateral Cooperation: H.E. Ms. Nialé Kaba attends official welcoming ceremony for the State visit of the President of Ghana in Abidjan

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, H.E. Ms. Nialé Kaba, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, took part alongside the Vice-President of the Republic, H.E. Tiémoko Meyliet Koné, as well as several government and institutional officials, in the official welcoming ceremony held on the occasion of the friendship and working visit to Côte d’Ivoire of His Excellency Mr. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana.

The Minister of State’s presence highlighted the importance of this protocol event, which reflects the strong fraternal relations between Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana.

During the visit, H.E. John Dramani Mahama held a tête-à-tête meeting with his Ivorian counterpart, H.E. Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.

Both Heads of State are expected to discuss issues of common interest, particularly prospects for strengthening bilateral relations between Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana.
