Abidjan, August 5, 2024 – On Monday, August 5, 2024, 78 laureates of the National Excellence Awards were honored at the Presidential Palace in Abidjan. The ceremony, presided over by President Alassane Ouattara, recognized individuals from various sectors for their outstanding contributions.

During the ceremony, President Ouattara emphasized that the National Day of Excellence celebration aims to encourage citizens to reconnect with the values and ideals that helped the founding father of Côte d'Ivoire, President Félix Houphouët-Boigny, to drive the nation’s economic and social development. "These values have enabled Côte d'Ivoire to demonstrate its resilience and become a great and beautiful nation, a haven of peace and growth for all Ivorians and residents," said Alassane Ouattara.
