Strengthening Financial Architecture and Promoting Women's Entrepreneurship

June 3, 2024 – Today, Sephora Kodjo shared an update on her LinkedIn profile about her participation as a panelist and member of the AfDB-CSO Committee during the African Development Bank's (AfDB) annual meetings last Friday. Kodjo discussed international financial architecture and success models developed by the SEPHIS Foundation.

She highlighted how SEPHIS supports women-led enterprises through training and technical assistance. Kodjo urged governments and financial institutions to integrate gender perspectives and promote female entrepreneurship through concrete mechanisms to enhance financial inclusion.

"Promoting women's entrepreneurship should be a priority not just in words but through actionable measures that ensure financial inclusivity," Kodjo stated.

Her advocacy aligns with efforts to improve economic opportunities for women in Africa, emphasizing the importance of inclusive financial systems and the role of women in economic transformation.
