Illa Donwahi, born in 1959, is an Ivorian economist and businesswoman, as well as the co-founder and president of the Donwahi Foundation, a private foundation dedicated to promoting contemporary art in Côte d'Ivoire.

She pursued higher education in the United States, specifically at Claremont Colleges in California. She then returned to her native country, working within private agro-food companies. In 2000, she became the president of GEPEX (Groupement des exportateurs de café et cacao de Côte-d’Ivoire), and between 2008 and 2011, she held the position of Vice President of the Management Committee for the coffee-cocoa sector on behalf of the Ivorian government. While remaining active in agro-industry as a producer of rubber and bergamot essential oil, she also became involved in various social and cultural projects.
