From June 30 to July 14, the Ivorian women's national basketball team, the Elephantes, held a training camp in Turkey. This stay was made possible thanks to the support of Her Excellency Deniz Erdogan Barim, Turkish Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire.

Upon their return to Ivorian soil, the Elephantes paid a courtesy visit to the Turkish Embassy in Abidjan to express their gratitude. The team thanked the embassy for the prompt delivery of visas, as well as for the excellent hospitality and training conditions provided during their stay in Turkey. The visit took place on Friday, July 18, in the early afternoon.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Ambassador Barim expressed her joy at the meeting and, as a sports enthusiast, promised to attend the upcoming match between Côte d’Ivoire and Egypt 🇪🇬, scheduled for Saturday, July 26.
