Côte d’Ivoire Squad Announced for CAN 2025 Qualifiers Against Sierra Leone

The Elephants of Ivory Coast have unveiled their squad for the upcoming matches in the qualifying rounds for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) 2025. Head coach Emerse Fae confirmed the lineup ahead of the double confrontation against Sierra Leone.

The first match is set for October 11 in San Pedro, followed by a return leg in Monrovia, Liberia. Currently leading Group G with 6 points, Ivory Coast is bolstered by the return of key players Sébastien Haller and Éric Bailly, who were absent in previous fixtures.

Major Returns and Notable Absences

In addition to Haller and Bailly, Jean Evrard Kouassi will also make his return after missing the last CAN tournament, which Ivory Coast won. However, the team will be without Simon Adingra, who is sidelined due to a calf injury, and Odilon Kossounou, who will miss the double-header as well.
