The President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, left Abidjan on Thursday, January 8, 2026, for a visit to France.

The Head of State was accompanied at Félix Houphouët-Boigny Airport by his wife, Dominique Ouattara, his Chief of Staff Fidèle Gboroton Sarassoro, and other dignitaries.
