Presidency of the Republic: Several Personalities Appointed as Ministers of State, Special Advisers and Minister-Advisers
Abidjan, January 26, 2026 – The President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, on Monday, January 26, 2026, in Abidjan, signed several appointment decrees relating to the Presidency of the Republic and the Government.
At the level of the Presidency of the Republic, Jeannot Ahoussou-Kouadio and Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani have been appointed Ministers of State and Special Advisers to the President of the Republic.
Meanwhile, Abdallah Albert Toikeusse Mabri, Mamadou Sanogo, Bouaké Fofana, and Laurent Tchagba have been appointed to the positions of Minister-Advisers to the Presidency of the Republic.
In addition, Fidèle Sarassoro has been reappointed as Minister, Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic, while Ahoutou Emmanuel Koffi retains his position as Minister, Director of the Cabinet of the Vice-President of the Republic.
At the Government level, Ibrahim Cissé Bacongo and Augustin Thiam have been appointed Minister-Governors of the Autonomous Districts of Abidjan and Yamoussoukro, respectively.
These appointments reflect the President’s commitment to strengthening governance and ensuring effective coordination at both the presidential and governmental levels.
