Senegal: Vice President Represents President Ouattara at Thiaroye Massacre Commemoration
The Vice President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Tiémoko Meyliet Koné, is participating on Monday, December 1, 2025, on behalf of President Alassane Ouattara, in the 2025 edition of the Thiaroye Massacre commemoration in Senegal.
Upon his arrival in Senegal, he was welcomed by the country’s highest authorities, as well as several members of the Ivorian government and diplomatic corps.
On the sidelines of the official ceremony, the Vice President will also hold a meeting with the President of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
