3rd CONECT Forum in Abidjan: Côte d’Ivoire and Tunisia Strengthen Economic Cooperation
Abidjan, March 31, 2026 – From March 30 to 31, 2026, a delegation of Tunisian business leaders, led by the Confederation of Citizen Enterprises of Tunisia (CONECT), conducted an economic mission in Côte d’Ivoire, marked by strategic meetings with both government authorities and the Ivorian private sector.
The delegation was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they met with Evariste Koffi Yapi, representing Minister of State Nialé Kaba, to discuss the need to revitalize trade between the two countries.
The mission continued at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire (CCI-CI), where President Faman Touré met the Tunisian delegation along with several Ivorian business operators from key sectors including construction, agribusiness, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
Discussions focused on facilitating investments, developing partnerships, promoting B2B meetings, and structuring cooperation between professional organizations.
With the participation of Kanigui Ouattara, President of the National Federation of SMEs, the goal is to move to a more operational phase and generate tangible results to strengthen economic collaboration between Côte d’Ivoire and Tunisia.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance bilateral economic relations and connect private sector actors to support growth and diversify trade.
