Agriculture: Côte d'Ivoire Signs the 2022 International Coffee Agreement
The Council of Ministers has ratified the 2022 International Coffee Agreement, adopted on June 9, 2022, in London, United Kingdom.
The announcement was made by the government spokesperson, Amadou Coulibaly, following the Council of Ministers meeting on November 12, 2025, in Abidjan.
“Following the Parliament’s authorization through the law of June 11, 2025, this decree ratifies the 2022 International Coffee Agreement,” he emphasized.
This international agreement—the eighth of its kind since the creation of the International Coffee Organization—aims to strengthen the global coffee sector.
It is expected to promote the sustainable development of Côte d'Ivoire across economic, social, and environmental dimensions.
