Côte d’Ivoire Banking Sector: 2025 Annual Results on the Horizon
In the coming weeks, the 2025 annual results of Ivorian banks, particularly those listed on the stock exchange, are expected to be released. Shareholders and investors are eagerly awaiting these figures, following a cumulative profit of 530 billion FCFA in 2024, which confirmed Côte d’Ivoire’s banking sector as one of the most profitable in the Francophone region.
Attention is focused on Patrick Blas, who has continued to drive strong growth since taking office, and Paul-Harry Aithnard, recognized for his ability to create shareholder value, boasting one of the highest ROEs in the sector and steadily increasing dividend payouts.
SIB continues to reassure the market with the sector’s best net margin, while the two national champions, BNI and NSIA Banque, surpassed the symbolic 30 billion FCFA profit mark, ranking among the Top 3 banks in terms of total assets.
Looking ahead to 2026, the Ivorian banking sector could once again deliver impressive results, supported by robust financial strength and a sustained growth dynamic.
