Côte d’Ivoire Keeps Cocoa Price at 2,800 FCFA Until March 2026

The Coffee and Cocoa Council  has just issued an official statement confirming the guaranteed cocoa price for the 2025–2026 main crop season. Ivorian producers will benefit from a farmgate price set at 2,800 FCFA per kilogram, applicable across the entire national territory. This price will remain unchanged until March 31, 2026, thereby providing visibility and stability to stakeholders in the sector.

Beyond setting the price, the institution also recalls the legal obligations related to the payment of delivered products. In accordance with the regulations in force, buyers have a maximum period of one month to fully pay producers, starting from the effective date of delivery. Any failure to comply with these provisions exposes offenders to the sanctions provided for by law.

The Coffee and Cocoa Council therefore calls on producers to report any cases of non-compliance with the guaranteed minimum price or delays in payment to its competent services and the relevant administrative authorities. This measure aims to strengthen transparency in transactions and protect the incomes of farmers, who form the backbone of the cocoa sector.
