Côte d’Ivoire Terminal, operator of the second container terminal at the Port of Abidjan, announced the attainment of triple certification for its integrated QHSE management system under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Awarded by Bureau Veritas, a global leader in conformity assessment services, this distinction recognizes the port operator’s ongoing commitment to service quality, the safety of its employees and partners, and environmental protection.
The initiative aims to enhance client and partner confidence while consolidating an internal culture of continuous performance improvement across port operations, equipment management, and environmental and safety practices.

About Côte d’Ivoire Terminal
Following an international tender, the AGL and APM Terminals consortium was awarded the construction and operation of the second container terminal at the Port of Abidjan. With an investment of over 262 billion CFA francs, the terminal can handle over 1.5 million TEUs annually and accommodate vessels with a draft of 16 meters along its 1,100-meter quays.
Covering 37.5 hectares, it generates more than 450 direct jobs and thousands of indirect jobs, contributing to skill development and training Ivorian youth in port operations and modern equipment handling. Côte d’Ivoire Terminal is certified in ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).
