Corruption Perception Index 2024: Côte d'Ivoire Makes Significant Progress

According to the latest Transparency International report, Côte d'Ivoire has made notable progress in the fight against corruption, achieving a score of 45/100 in the Corruption Perception Index (CPI), ranking 69th out of 180 countries. This success is attributed to several legal and institutional reforms implemented by President Alassane Ouattara to promote transparency, accountability, and strengthen the fight against economic and financial crimes.

Côte d'Ivoire reaffirms its commitment to continuing these efforts in order to reach even higher levels of transparency and ensure exemplary governance for its citizens.

For context, in 2024, Côte d'Ivoire scored 41/100 and ranked 83rd, compared to a score of 40/100 and a ranking of 87th in 2023.
