Invest In Denguélé" Forum: Over CFA 559.7 Billion in Investment Intentions for the District

Abidjan, April 29, 2025 – The "Invest In Denguélé" Forum, held from Friday, April 25 to Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Odienné (the capital of the District), exceeded expectations with over CFA 559.7 billion in investment intentions for this autonomous district in the northwest of Côte d'Ivoire.

Under the high patronage of the Prime Minister, Minister of Sports and Living Environment, Robert Beugré Mambé, and co-organized by the Minister-Governor, Gaoussou Touré, and the Centre for the Promotion of Investments in Côte d'Ivoire (CEPICI), the forum's theme was: "Together, let's make Denguélé a hub for sustainable and integrated development."

The general objective of the "Invest In Denguélé" Forum was to promote investment opportunities in priority sectors to drive the economic, social, and cultural development of the District.

More than 1,150 participants attended this significant business event in this strategic region for the economic development of Côte d'Ivoire. This included international development support organizations and delegations from Congo, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Turkey, Tunisia, India, the Ivorian diaspora, and local business operators.

Numerous exchanges and interactions between these economic operators led to investment intentions amounting to CFA 559.7 billion, with CFA 552.75 billion allocated to infrastructure and logistics and CFA 7 billion to agro-industry.

To materialize these intentions, CEPICI, in collaboration with stakeholders, established a "Follow-up Unit" to assist investors through the implementation of the projects.

It is worth noting that the "Invest In Denguélé" Forum featured, among other events, an inaugural session, a high-level ministerial panel, thematic panels, conferences, and masterclasses that highlighted the potential and business opportunities of the Denguélé Autonomous District.
