Regional Development: Bouaké to Host the “Invest in the Autonomous District of the Bandama Valley” Forum on September 11–12, 2025

The Autonomous District of the Bandama Valley and the Investment Promotion Centre of Côte d'Ivoire (CEPICI) officially launched, on July 30, 2025, in Abidjan, the Invest in the Autonomous District of the Bandama Valley Forum, scheduled for September 11–12, 2025, in Bouaké.

On this occasion, Solange Amichia, Director General of CEPICI, highlighted the district’s assets, particularly its strategic location and its agricultural, cultural, industrial, and human potential. This forum is part of CEPICI’s Regional Support Program, which aims to promote and harness the economic potential of the country’s territories.

The Minister-Governor, Jean-Claude Kouassi, reaffirmed the authorities’ commitment to making the district an attractive zone for investors. According to him, thanks to its strategic position at the heart of Côte d'Ivoire, this area—which covers 9% of the national territory—is a land of hospitality, opportunity, and progress.

However, he stressed that these numerous advantages alone are not enough to generate the desired economic momentum. "To turn our wealth into prosperity and jobs, we need strong partnerships, bold investments, and a shared vision with private investors. That is the purpose of this forum," he stated.

Jean-Claude Kouassi assured that the Autonomous District of the Bandama Valley is ready to welcome and support the prosperity of investors. "We offer you a favorable environment, a dynamic administration, and exceptional investment incentives," he concluded.
