SIREXE 2024: The General Commission Presents Event Goals to the Media and Seeks Their Support
The General Commission of the International Exhibition for Extractive and Energy Resources (SIREXE 2024), organized by the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum, and Energy, presented the event’s objectives to the media on Friday, October 25, 2024, in Abidjan, seeking their collaboration to ensure its success.
Highlighting that SIREXE 2024 aligns with President Alassane Ouattara’s strategic vision to elevate Côte d'Ivoire to upper-middle-income status by 2030, the SIREXE 2024 General Commissioner, Sabati Cissé, emphasized that this exhibition, dedicated to the sectors of mining, petroleum, and energy, is committed to promoting essential resources for the nation’s economic growth and prosperity.
"As key players in information, you have always supported our nation's major initiatives. Therefore, we count on your support before, during, and after this event, just as you have consistently done in the past, to ensure its resounding success," he appealed to the media.
The General Commissioner reiterated the invaluable and crucial role of media support in making this inaugural edition a resounding success that matches Côte d'Ivoire's ambitions.
With the primary objectives of further stimulating national and international private investments in the sector and ensuring a fairer distribution of generated wealth, the first edition of SIREXE will take place from November 27 to December 2, 2024, at Abidjan’s Exhibition Park under the theme: "Sustainable Development of Extractive and Energy Industries: Policies and Strategies."
