Agro-Industry: A Vegetable Storage and Processing Plant Announced for Bélier Region's Agro-Park
On September 25, 2024, in Tiébissou, Côte d'Ivoire's Minister of Agriculture, Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani, announced the construction of a vegetable storage, processing, and packaging plant in Bélier’s Agro-Park. Funded by ECOWAS Bank with 14 billion CFA, the plant will handle 50,000 tons of produce daily. The facility will include vegetable production, processing lines for paste, and juice production. It is expected to create 200 direct and 420 indirect jobs, supporting local agriculture and economic growth.
