On September 9, 2025, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Côte d'Ivoire held a certificate ceremony for 21 Ivorian diplomats and civil servants who completed training on Economic Diplomacy. The training, conducted by the Dutch Institute of International Relations, The Clingendael Institute, took place from August 25 to 29, 2025.

The certificate handover ceremony was attended by H.E. Mahan Gueu, Ambassador and Director for Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Ivorians Abroad of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.

In his speech, H.E. Jeroen Kelderhuis, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Côte d'Ivoire, congratulated the participants and praised the strong economic cooperation between the two countries.

H.E. Mahan Gueu thanked the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Côte d'Ivoire for this initiative and highlighted the excellent cooperation between Côte d'Ivoire and the Netherlands.

The event took place in a relaxed atmosphere marked by conviviality and mutual learning about diplomatic practices in Côte d'Ivoire and the Netherlands.
