Kolo Touré is back at Manchester City. After playing for the club between 2009 and 2013, the former Ivorian defender, now 44, has officially joined Pep Guardiola’s coaching staff on a permanent basis.
“Manchester City is pleased to confirm the permanent appointment of Kolo Touré to Pep Guardiola’s team. After serving as assistant coach during the FIFA Club World Cup campaign this summer, the 44-year-old will now hold this role full-time,” the club announced in a statement.
