Abidjan, July 15, 2026 — The American Chamber of Commerce in Côte d’Ivoire (AmCham-CI) was honored to attend the opening ceremony of the 3rd edition of the Akwaba Africa Diaspora Festival (2ADF-3), a premier international event celebrating synergies between the African continent and its global diaspora.

Held under the theme “Investment, Trade, Culture, and Sport,” this seven-day festival serves as a dynamic hub. It brings together entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders, and cultural actors to connect, share insights, and forge new business opportunities.

Highlighting the festival’s growing global reach, this year’s edition welcomed delegations from across Africa and beyond, including:

·        Africa: Senegal, Nigeria, Mali, Benin, Niger

·        International: United States, Germany

The distinguished presence of the U.S. Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire at the ceremony further underscored the vital importance of strengthening economic and commercial ties between the United States, Côte d’Ivoire, and the broader African continent.
