Abidjan, September 18, 2026 – The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nialé Kaba, presided over the presentation ceremony of the practical guide to the United Nations operational system and the implementation of the 2026–2030 Cooperation Framework on September 18, 2026, in Abidjan.

Several dignitaries attended the ceremony, including the Minister of Communication, Amadou Coulibaly, the Minister of Sports, Adjé Silas Metch, and the Minister of Culture and Francophonie, Françoise Remarck.

"We welcome the adoption last April of the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF 2026–2030) between Côte d'Ivoire and the United Nations system. This framework serves as a joint roadmap. It seals the alignment of UN action with Côte d'Ivoire's priorities and should take us from mere juxtaposition to coherence, complementarity, and tangible impact," she stated. For the Foreign Minister, the 2026–2030 UNSDCF marks a new phase of coherence and accountability in the Côte d'Ivoire–UN partnership. She added that the added value of the United Nations is not measured solely by financial allocations, but through leveraging expertise, data, innovation, funding, and policy dialogue. It is also demonstrated by supporting compliance with standards, facilitating access to climate and private financing, and strengthening accountability.

The 2026–2030 UNSDCF projects over one billion dollars in funding, nearly 40% of which is already available. "Our collective responsibility is to diversify funding sources, engaging the private sector and technical and financial partners to secure the remaining 60%," she affirmed.

The 2026–2030 UNSDCF is built upon a vision of a stable, resilient, and peaceful Côte d'Ivoire where every citizen has access to quality services and benefits from inclusive, sustainable growth driven by structural transformation and effective governance.

It is worth noting that the 2021–2025 UNSDCF cycle delivered tangible results across education, healthcare, youth employment, women's empowerment, social cohesion, and climate resilience.
