Côte d’Ivoire UNFPA Strengthens Cooperation in the Guemon Region

As part of his mission in the Guemon region, Mr. Saidou Kaboré, UNFPA Resident Representative in Côte d’Ivoire, paid a courtesy visit to the Regional Prefect, represented by Fatoumata Sanogo, Secretary General of the Prefecture in charge of regional affairs.

The meeting reaffirmed UNFPA’s commitment to local authorities in implementing the 9th Côte d’Ivoire–UNFPA Cooperation Programme (CP9 2026–2030), with a focus on sexual and reproductive health, prevention of gender-based violence, and strengthening community strategies.
