Côte d’Ivoire and Canadian Bank Note Company Explore Strategic Cooperation Opportunities in Digital Identity and Public Services

June 5, 2026?The Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire in Canada received a delegation from the Canadian Bank Note Company (CBN), led by Mr. Amr ADAM, Director of International Business Development.

Recently returning from Abidjan, where it carried out a mission focused on prospecting and institutional discussions, the delegation wished to brief His Excellency Ambassador Bafétigué OUATTARA on the successful outcomes of the visit. The Ambassador had previously received the delegation before its departure for Côte d’Ivoire.

Discussions focused on prospects for cooperation in the areas of civil identity, the security of administrative documents, digital traceability, and the modernization of public services.

The Ambassador also took the opportunity to invite CBN to participate in the World Bank consultations on financing Côte d’Ivoire’s 2026–2030 National Development Plan, scheduled for July 8–9, 2026 in Abidjan, in order to explore investment and partnership opportunities.
