Following a meeting with Minister Adama Coulibaly, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Dutch group Invest International, Mélanie Maas Geesteranus, praised the quality of cooperation with Côte d’Ivoire.
She was received on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, by the Minister of Economy, Finance and Budget to assess progress on priority development projects and discuss future prospects. Accompanied by the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Côte d’Ivoire, Jeroen Kelderhuis, she welcomed the strong partnership between the two countries, describing it as a valuable opportunity and expressing satisfaction with the constructive discussions.
The visit is part of a 2023 agreement signed with the Ivorian government to implement key development projects. In addition to her meeting with the finance minister, she also met with Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé, who reaffirmed the government’s commitment to accelerating project implementation.
Talks focused on infrastructure development, the Port of San-Pedro and the fishing port, the transport ecosystem, and sanitation projects.
