The General Commission of the Salon International des Ressources Extractives et Énergétiques (SIREXE) 2026 was received at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in  Côte d’Ivoire as part of preparations for the second edition of the event.

The meeting provided an opportunity to present the ambitions and strategic objectives of SIREXE 2026 while exploring prospects for Chinese cooperation and participation across the mining, oil, gas, and energy sectors.

As one of Africa’s leading economic partners, China has a strategic role to play in enhancing SIREXE’s international dimension and fostering high-value partnerships that can accelerate investment, innovation, and sustainable development in  Côte d’Ivoire and across the continent.

The discussions also underscored the importance of strengthening economic and industrial cooperation between  Côte d’Ivoire and China in key extractive and energy sectors, positioning SIREXE 2026 as a major platform for dialogue, investment, and international collaboration.

The General Commission expressed its gratitude to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in  Côte d’Ivoire  for its warm welcome and the quality of the exchanges, which contribute to building a successful and globally connected edition of SIREXE in 2026.
