Thanks to funding from the U.S. Embassy's Self-Help Program, traditional weavers in Waraniene, located in the northern region of Korhogo, have significantly enhanced their skills and expanded their businesses. This initiative has not only fostered the growth of their individual enterprises but has also contributed to the betterment of their entire community.
The project has strengthened ties between the United States and Côte d'Ivoire, promoting mutual growth and a rich cultural exchange. Through this support, the weavers have seen improvements in their craft and have become pivotal in the development and unity of their local area.
