Presidential candidate Henriette Adjoua Lagou cast her ballot on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at EPP Tanoh Tanoh in Daoukro, her hometown. She voted at polling station No. 5, placing her ballot in the transparent box after completing all formalities.
“I arrived in Daoukro early this morning and have just fulfilled my civic duty. Everything is going well, everything is calm. I was able to vote peacefully in my polling station,” she said after voting.
Following her vote, Henriette Lagou addressed Ivorians, encouraging them to go to the polls in large numbers and fulfill their civic responsibility. “I urge all citizens to vote. Only then will our country experience real change,” she emphasized.
For her, Côte d’Ivoire and its people have come a long way, considering the various crises that shook the nation from 2000 to 2011. “We have a duty to vote calmly and restore peace in Côte d’Ivoire. Only then can the country make significant progress in a sustainable development process,” she urged.
Looking ahead, she expressed confidence in victory and outlined her priority if elected: reconciling the Ivorian population.
“If I am elected, our first initiative will be to reconcile all Ivorians, naturally implementing substantial actions in this process,” she stated.
