Côte d'Ivoire: Prime Minister Beugré Mambé Encourages Ivorian Diaspora in Tanzania to Embody Excellence

During his stay in Tanzania for the #Mission300 initiative, Prime Minister Dr. Beugré Mambé met with the Ivorian diaspora in Tanzania this Wednesday. Accompanied by Maes Ennio, the Ivorian Ambassador to Ethiopia and future Ambassador to Tanzania, the Ivorian Head of Government encouraged Ivorians residing in Tanzania to see themselves as ambassadors of excellence.

In his speech, Prime Minister Mambé emphasized the significant role Ivorian nationals abroad play in representing Côte d'Ivoire. "Let the institutions that employ you be proud to work with Ivorians, you who embody excellence. (…) You are on a mission for all of us. By upholding the values of integrity, you are the ambassadors of Côte d'Ivoire," he stated.

He also encouraged members of the diaspora to adopt the best practices in their respective fields and implement them in Côte d'Ivoire. "Do not hesitate to adopt the best practices in all sectors and apply them in Côte d'Ivoire, because there is no shame in drawing inspiration from what works elsewhere," he added.

This meeting provided an opportunity for the Prime Minister to strengthen the ties between Côte d'Ivoire and its citizens abroad, urging them to take an active role in the country’s development.
