Air Côte d’Ivoire: The national airline, a leader in West and Central Africa with around 7.4 million passengers transported from 2013 to 2024
Abidjan, July 8, 2025 – The national airline, Air Côte d’Ivoire, has established itself as a leader in West and Central Africa, with approximately 7,400,000 passengers transported through Abidjan Airport between 2013 and 2024.
These figures were shared by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Ahmed Djibril Coulibaly, who was the guest speaker at the weekly press conference “Tout Savoir Sur” organized by the Government Information and Communication Center (CICG), held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in Abidjan-Plateau.
“Air Côte d’Ivoire recorded, for the second consecutive year, a significant increase in profits, reaching 1,478,672,098 FCFA in 2024 a 125% rise compared to 2023,” Ahmed Djibril Coulibaly proudly announced.
He also stated that Air Côte d’Ivoire currently serves 18 destinations in West and Central Africa. On the domestic network, the airports of Korhogo, Bouaké, Man, San Pedro, and Odienné, which receive regular flights from Air Côte d’Ivoire, handle an average of 70,000 passengers per year.
